Multidimensional Beauty of the Rubik’s Cube

In this multicultural era, my work is an exploration and presentation of various mediums, aiming to showcase the complexity and multidimensional beauty of the Rubik’s Cube while integrating traditional Chinese culture with modern technology. This collection comprises a laser-cut movable Rubik’s Cube, a 3D-printed Rubik’s Cube lamp, and a plaster-made Rubik’s Cube model, each representing my unique perspective and expression of the world.

Jiaxi Chen is proficient in Adobe’s design software, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign, and is able to flexibly utilize these software for graphic design and creation. In terms of 3D modeling, I am proficient in Blender and have some exposure to VR modeling. In addition, he has extensive production experience, including proficiency in a variety of techniques including 3D printing technology, laser cutting and screen printing. He works in a variety of disciplines, from graphic design to 3D modeling to actual fabricated artifacts, including plaster sculptures.
