Artist Statement

This film is a tribute to the simple pleasures of everyday life, creativity, and the nostalgic essence of British Columbia. Relocating from an inland city nestled among mountains in South Korea to the harbour city, Vancouver, and being far away from my family, inspired the heartwarming tale of a seagull family. The locations that have influenced me are drawn from daily life experiences and memories in Granville Island, Olympic Village, and Victoria Island.
