Afraid of Everything

Afraid of Everything is inspired by the song of the same title by California hardcore band SPY. The work is a 40 x 60 archival 35mm analog image, digitally printed with eight in-camera double exposures compiled into one. This work embodies the movement, raw energy, and sense of community of the North West Hardcore underground (NWHC) music scene.
The artist printed this piece at scale to encapsulate and challenge the spectator, forcing their confrontation with a mis-perceived, nonconforming aggressor, in a traditional gallery space.
