Visitor InfoEnveloped within the protective embrace of the canopy, surrounded by the serene rustle of leaves, stands a wooden shelter, attuned to the sublime harmony of nature. Its design boasting a foldable table and an awning, conforms to diverse settings, fostering adaptable spaces that assimilate into their surroundings. Facilitating streamlined assembly and disassembly, this refuge effortlessly conforms to an array of environments, providing a space where the union of nature and innovation achieves flawless synchrony.
Urban outdoor spaces often lack comfortable, inviting areas for families and individuals to gather, relax, and enjoy nature. Stillshade aims to bridge this gap by providing a versatile solution that not only offers shade and protection from sunlight and drizzling but also creates a cozy ambiance for shared meals and quality time outdoors. I believe everyone, regardless of age, deserves access to spaces that foster connection with nature and community, and the shelter is designed to facilitate these meaningful experiences in the heart of the city.
The canopy of STILLSHADE features ash wood stripes connected with 3D-printed joints. These connections provide both flexibility and durability, allowing the wood stripes to bend within the structure and return to their original position effortlessly. Furthermore, the modular design facilitates easy disassembly, making transportation convenient and optimizing storage space when not in use.
The canopy utilizes adjustable knots on strings to manipulate its orientation, effectively shading from various angles. While these strings are used to secure the canopy in place, their removal transforms the structure into a natural swing tree shade, allowing it to sway gently and providing a serene experience.
