ARTIST STATEMENT
Tea has a history of more than four thousand years in China. Maybe because of my mother’s sake, I like tea since childhood, my life cannot live without tea. The film focuses on the shape of the tea house, which is inspired by the shape and color of the tea set and tea leaves. Some tea leaves need to be stored in the refrigerator, so some ice textures are made on the outside of the tea house, in order to simulate the feeling of an ice cellar. The whole atmosphere of the film revolves around the smell of green tea, so that the film can condense the aroma of tea in a quiet state.
Film Synopsis: It is said that tea was discovered and used by the Chinese for at least four thousand years. I can’t live without tea, and I hope you have tea in your life.
